Hearts in Hands is out serving across our city each week, helping make homes safer through wheelchair ramps, handrails, and other safety-focused improvements. It’s a blessing for our volunteers to share God’s love by meeting practical needs in the lives of others. Contact us at 205-547-0306 if you can help, or click the link below to email us.
Join us in making a difference TOGETHER! Give us your contact information, church affiliation, area of interest, and availability.

Hearts in Hands relies on volunteers to serve those in our community who need it most. We invite you to be part of what we do—using your time and talents to make homes safer and to serve others with care and love.
Volunteers are needed in the following areas:
Project Leaders – Help guide small teams in building wheelchair ramps and completing safety-focused projects.
Ramp Build Volunteers – No experience required. Volunteers work alongside others to build ramps and improve accessibility.
General Volunteers – Help with handyman projects, furniture ministry, and warehouse support, including organizing materials and assisting on project days.
Client Support Volunteers – Spend time with clients, offer encouragement, and pray with those we serve.
New volunteers will be contacted to discuss current opportunities and where they can best serve.
