Hearts in Hands is out serving ALL OVER OUR CITY each week, building ramps, repairing floors, bathrooms, roofs and installing handrails. We need you!
Hearts in Hands relies on volunteers to serve those in our community who need it most.
Volunteers are needed in the following areas:
- Project Leaders - We need leaders of small teams or groups to coordinate the construction of wheelchair ramps for disabled clients or to lead handyman projects. Volunteer teams may meet on Saturday for a half day project or on any weekday volunteers are available. Project leaders will determine materials needed which will be supplied by Hearts in Hands.
- Ramp Construction Volunteers - We need volunteers with carpentry and all skill levels to assist with ramp construction or landscaping.
- Handyman Volunteers - We need men and women who are gifted at performing small household repairs in teams of two or three people. A handyman needs to have his/her own tools and be willing to work a few weekdays per month on small projects. Materials will be provided.
- Client Relations Volunteers - Volunteers are needed to visit and pray with elderly and disabled clients and who may be able to perform various household needs.
New volunteers will be contacted to discuss our current needs.
