To apply for home repair services from Hearts In Hands, please contact us at (205) 547-0306. You will be contacted within five (5) business days by a client relations specialist. The client relations specialist will discuss your physical need as well as your financial need in order to determine your eligibility for services and whether you will be required to pay part of the costs of your repairs. If the client relations specialist determines that you may qualify, a home visit will be scheduled to further asses your need. During this home visit, your client relations specialist will discuss your eligibility status, assist you in completing the required paperwork, and explain your expected financial responsibility, if any, for your repairs.

Hearts In Hands recognizes that unusual financial or physical hardships can occur. In such cases, the income eligibility limits outlined above might be too restrictive for these particular clients. These hardship exceptions will be evaluated on a cases-by-case basis and may be granted only with the recommendation of the Director of Client Relations and the approval by a majority of the Board of Directors. In all cases, the decision of the Board of Directors is final.
